Cairo Time is an eloquently told romantic story that’s moving while remaining true to the customs and ideals of the Arabic culture. The film’s setting for this almost inopportune romance in this ancient land is engrossing and absorbing, as we watch the story’s lonely protagonist become enchanted with a foreign city with the help of an unlikely friend.
